Rural health care delivery continues to face significant challenges. In addition to the financial pressures, there are growing workforce shortage issues and increasing clinical need requirements of the rural patient. These are creating significant choke points for the delivery of rural health care. OSU's Center for Health Systems Innovation is addressing these challenges by deploying innovative care delivery and IT solutions to relieve these choke points.
